Session #1
Andrew Macpherson is Acting Director of the Insitute for Security Technology
Studies, and Technical Program Coordinator, Technical Analysis Group (TAG) of
ISTS. Dartmouth College.
Mr. Macpherson has led national and international law enforcement,
business, and intelligence research efforts for such organizations as
the United Nations War Crimes Tribunal and Cognos, Inc. He is a graduate
of the London School of Economics where he received his M.A. in the
History of International Relations. Mr. Macpherson earned his
undergraduate degree, cum laude, at Mercyhurst College in the Research
Intelligence Analysts Program.
Cyber Attacks During the War on Terrorism
This report analyzes the possibility of cyber attacks
against U.S. and allied information infrastructures in response to the
military strikes against terrorists and nation-state sponsors. While
many have speculated about the possibility for such cyber attacks, this
report provides a detailed, fact-based assessment of the situation. It
examines recent trends and precedents and sets out in detail the
potential types, targets, and sources of cyber attacks that we should be
prepared for. It also makes concrete recommendations for protective
actions.

Sue Ashdown, Director, American ISP Association
Current status of FCC and state regulatory proceedings affecting ISPs
Ms. Ashdown will give a brief overview of federal and state legislation
as it pertains to ISPs -both infrastructure related, and Internet related
(SPAM, privacy, security).
Session #3
Katie McDonough and Ann ???
Katie McDonough received her masters degree in library science from the
University of Maryland in 1986. In addition to the New Hampshire State
Library, she has worked at the Department of Public Libraries in Montgomery
County, MD, the Library of Congress, and the National Archives. At the
State Library, Katie has served as coordinator of federal grant programs and
is currently field services/outreach coordinator. She is the State
Library's contact person regarding intellectual freedom issues as they
pertain to library services to adults.
Ann ??? is the Youth Services Coordinator at the New Hampshire State Library.
She earned a Masters in Information from the University of Michigan, after
which she worked as Children's Librarian at the Canton Public Library. She
also worked in the Southwick School Media Center in Northfield, NH. Before
entering the library world, Ann taught English at schools in Ohio and New
York and then at Plymouth State College in New Hampshire.
Free speech vs. protecting our children
This session will cover Web filtering issues for school and public
libraries, including the up-to-the-minute status of court decisions
and how they affect ISPs and eRATE.
Session #4
This will be a roundtable of venders and ISPs, led by
Kristopher Twomey, Atty.
Fighting the SPAM/Virus Invasion -- Solutions for ISPs
Discussion will include Legal issues, new solutions for ISPs, etc.
Session #5
Brad Noblet, Director of Network Services, Dartmouth College
What's New in Wireless
Mr. Noblet will discuss solutions from Cisco, Linksys, Netgear and others.

Discussion will include recent developments with the PUC and the
NH Emergency Alert System.
